City of Toledo recently issued the following announcement.
Please allow extra time for travel and be prepared.
As the moderate to heavy rain showers come in, please check the storm drains in front of or near your home and make sure they are clear. This will avoid flooding.
City of Toledo crews are checking and clearing a variety of areas, as well.
City of Toledo crews are closely monitoring pavement temperatures to know when to apply salt to roadways as temps drop.
As snow accumulates, plows will begin removal on Phase One roads overnight.
