2022 Prism Awards Nomination

Eastern Maumee Bay Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.

2022 Prism Awards Nomination

Nominate a deserving party or SELF NOMINATE for the 2022 Prism Awards!  Nominations should be robust with as many details and/or examples of why they are deserving of the award. Nominations will be open until April 8, 2022.

Nominations are open for the following:

Nonprofit of the Year - is awarded to a community-based non-profit or volunteer organization which has demonstrated excellence in serving its clients and/or has benefitted the community as a whole.

Large Business of the Year (25+ employees) - is awarded to a business or organization that has 25 or more employees that is located in or providing services to the Eastern Maumee Bay region and has demonstrated excellence in its field.

Silver - is awarded to a business or organization that has been in business for 25 or more years, located in or providing services to the Eastern Maumee Bay region and has been active in the community, creating jobs and providing quality products and services to its customers.

Newcomer of the Year - is awarded to a business or organization that has come to our area within the past five years and has demonstrated excellence in its field.

Small Business of the Year (under 25 employees) - is awarded to a business or organization that has less than 25 employees, is located in or providing services to the Eastern Maumee Bay region and has demonstrated excellence in its field.

Person of the Year - is awarded to an individual who has positively contributed to the betterment of the Eastern Maumee Bay Region (EMBR). The recipient has demonstrated superior leadership and service to the EMBR and has helped to make this community a better place to live and work. Nominees are not required to be a member of the Eastern Maumee Bay Chamber of Commerce but must live or work in the EMBR. Current Chamber board members are not eligible.

Young Person of the Year - is awarded to a high school student living in the Eastern Maumee Bay Region for his/her outstanding achievement in community service activities outside of school-based extracurricular activities.  This award is accompanied by a $1,000 scholarship.
