Navarre and Coy Project Update

Today, November 2nd, the contractor will be milling the existing asphalt in the westbound lanes of Navarre Avenue.

On Thursday, November 3rd, the contractor will be placing the intermediate course (1 of 2) of asphalt on the westbound lanes of Navarre Avenue.  There will be intermittent closures of the southern leg of Coy Road after the fresh asphalt is placed on Navarre Avenue through the intersection.  Traffic will be detoured down Dustin Road during the periods when Coy Road at the intersection of Navarre Avenue is closed.  

On Friday, November 4th, the contractor will be placing the final surface course of asphalt on the westbound lanes of Navarre Avenue.  There will be intermittent closures of the southern leg of Coy Road after the fresh asphalt is placed on Navarre Avenue through the intersection.  Traffic will be detoured down Dustin Road during the periods when Coy Road is closed at Navarre Avenue.  

Motorist should expect added congestion during work hours near the Navarre / Coy Intersection with possible delays.  Unless notified otherwise, the entrance drives to properties within the work area will remain open throughout except while the fresh asphalt is being placed and compacted in front of drives.
