The City of Oregon is accepting applications for a Heavy Equipment Operator (HEO). Position reports to the Streets Supt and is responsible for skillfully operating and performing routine maintenance on a variety of heavy motorized equipment (backhoe, front-end loader, excavator, roller, skid loader) and performing manual labor work activities. Must have high school diploma or G.E.D. certificate and two years’ verifiable experience in heavy equipment operation and maintenance related activities. Must obtain Class A Commercial Driver’s License within 90 days of appointment. Current salary range: $61,235 -$72,425.
