The Department of Public Service (DPS) Safety Division launched its new Safety Rewards Program this week. The program, which rewards employees for achieving 100% compliance in safety audits, saw its first audit take place on Tuesday, February 7, 2023.

A Forestry Division crew, led by Crew Leader Michael Flores and including Tree Service Workers Todd Wuertz and Paul Auler, received a perfect score on both the Safety Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Audit and the Safety Equipment Audit. In recognition of their exceptional performance, each member of the crew was given a sleek black hot/cold metal drink tumbler featuring the TOL logo.

Great job, Forestry! Your dedication to safety is truly commendable.
