Toledo’s Department of Parks and Youth Services is holding a public meeting to gather feedback from the community on a Recreational Trails Grant application that is being submitted to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. The grant, worth $150k, will be used to improve the paved trail that goes around Ottawa Park. The purpose of the meeting is to gather feedback from community members about the proposed improvements to the trail, and to address any concerns or questions they may have. This public meeting is a valuable opportunity for the community to have their voices heard and to play a role in shaping the future of their parks and recreational spaces. We encourage members of the community to attend and provide their input on the proposed project.
