The Youth Advisory Board will meet monthly, providing members with valuable experiences in leadership, business etiquette, community service, and park operations. Collaborating with park and recreation department staff, the board's mission is to foster inclusivity in the city's park system, address youth concerns in Toledo, and develop action plans to engage more youth.
"The Youth Advisory Board offers Toledo's youth a platform to learn about city government, make a positive impact on their community, and develop leadership skills," Daveion Beach, Youth Program Coordinator, said.
