Marcy Kaptur announces national actions supporting USPS and local healthcare advancements

Rep. Marcy Kaptur, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Ohio's 9th district since 1983, recently shared a series of tweets highlighting various initiatives and events. Her communications covered topics from postal service support to healthcare advancements and educational milestones.

On March 22, 2025, Rep. Kaptur announced a "nationwide day of action" in collaboration with the National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC) to show support for USPS letter carriers and workers across the United States. In her tweet, she urged people to participate by saying: "Tomorrow, is a nationwide day of action with @NALC_National to support @USPS letter carriers and workers across the country who mean so much to American families. We will be coming together to say: Hands off the USPS! This is how we #FightLikeHell."

Later that same day, Rep. Kaptur celebrated National Health Care Rights Day by acknowledging efforts made towards expanding healthcare access in underserved communities. She highlighted a significant achievement from the previous year when a mobile clinic was launched at the University of Toledo through federal investment. She stated: "On National Health Care Rights Day, we celebrate the progress made in expanding care to underserved communities."

The following day on March 23, 2025, Rep. Kaptur commemorated Defiance College's Founders Day as they marked their 175th anniversary of educating Northwest Ohio communities. Expressing her honor at being part of this milestone event, she noted: "It’s Founders Day @DefianceCollege as they celebrate 175 years of educating our NW Ohio Communities."
