Rep. Marcy Kaptur, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Ohio’s 9th district, recently shared a series of tweets highlighting various issues and initiatives. The congresswoman, who has been in office since 1983 after succeeding Ed Weber, discussed topics ranging from postal service protection to healthcare access.

On March 23, 2025, Rep. Kaptur expressed her support for the United States Postal Service (USPS), emphasizing its importance as a constitutionally guaranteed public service. She stated: "The @USPS is a Constitutionally guaranteed public service—not something to be gutted for parts. As a former letter carrier I know how vital this work is for our rural, suburban, and urban communities. Thank you @NALC_National for this Day of Action. #HandsOffTheUSPS".

On March 24, 2025, she reported on her visit to Lucas County's first Youth Crisis Stabilization Unit. She noted the facility's significance in providing trauma-informed care and expressed gratitude towards those involved: "Toured Lucas County's first Youth Crisis Stabilization Unit this past week. Through community support, this newly renovated facility will continue to expand accessible, trauma-informed care for all in our NW Ohio communities."

Later that day, Rep. Kaptur reflected on the impact of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) over the past fifteen years. She highlighted its role in improving healthcare accessibility and affordability for families across Northwest Ohio: "15 years after the ACA became law, thousands of families across NW Ohio have quality affordable healthcare they deserve. It’s changed lives and lowered costs for many."
