Rep. Marcy Kaptur, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Ohio’s 9th District since 1983, has issued a series of statements via social media. The tweets address concerns ranging from healthcare provision to economic policies.

On April 7, 2025, Rep. Kaptur expressed her commitment to healthcare access by recognizing the significance of World Health Day. In her tweet, she stated, "On #WorldHealthDay we uplift the importance of providing health care to our communities. While some are considering cutting resources, I will fight to protect these programs and work to expand access to care at community health centers in NW Ohio, throughout our Buckeye State."

Further economic concerns were raised by Rep. Kaptur on April 8, 2025. Addressing recent financial market turmoil, she wrote on social media, "Tariffs of this magnitude equate to new taxes on everything the American people buy. The Dow and S&P continued their historic nosedive today. Congress needs to act fast to rein in this chaos before retirement savings evaporate, businesses lose capital, and unemployment."
