Rep. Marcy Kaptur, currently serving in the U.S. Congress and representing Ohio’s 9th district since 1983, shared several updates through social media posts highlighting her recent engagements and initiatives in her constituency.

On May 4, Kaptur expressed appreciation for meeting with local business owner and Marine veteran Roger Kuns of Kuns Northcoast Security. She noted the company's growth over the past decade: "Great to meet with local business owner and Marine veteran Roger Kuns of Kuns Northcoast Security. In 10 years they have grown from 2 employees to 12 with offices in Fremont and Perrysburg, working with schools, hospitals, manufacturing, and governmental facilities across our."

The following day, on May 5, she highlighted a significant discussion at SeaGate Food Bank concerning food insecurity. The event included participation from several organizations: "Important discussion at @SeaGateFoodBank about rising food prices, food assistance, ways to counter food insecurity, and places those in need can turn. Thank you to the @UnitedWayToledo, Connecting Kids to Meals, @NALC_National, and Toledo Community Foundation for taking part."

On May 6, Rep. Kaptur reminded constituents about the upcoming Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive organized by the National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC). She encouraged community involvement in this longstanding initiative: "Saturday, @NALC_National in NW Ohio, and postal workers nationwide will hold their annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive. First launched in 1993, this has since become the largest food drive in America. I encourage all who want to help—put dry or canned food by your mailbox THIS."

Marcy Kaptur was born in Toledo in 1946 and graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Madison with a BA in 1968.
